Gas Operator Qualification (OQ) Specialist Job Summary The Operator Qualification (OQ) Specialist ensures compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) 49 CFR Part 192 Subpart N (Operator Qualification Rule) by evaluating and verifying the knowledge, skills, and abilities of personnel performing covered tasks. This role is responsible for administering written, computer-based, and performance-based assessments to promote technical competency, operational excellence, and the highest standards of public and employee safety. The OQ Specialist conducts qualification evaluations across multiple technical disciplines including, but not limited to, gas operations and maintenance, construction, locating, customer service, and plastic pipe joining.…
