Staff RN- Gastroenterology Office (Contingent)

Overview: Hours will fall Monday - Friday, day shift Care Coordination/Triage (GI Office) : This RN will work with a group of physicians, fellows, and nurse practitioners to provide care coordination for their patients. The RN will communicate with patients, families, and ancillary services through Epic telephone encounters/My Chart encounters and via phone. Care Coordination activities consist of addressing medical issues/concerns, communicating test results, medication refills/prior authorizations, patient/family education, and communicating with ancillary services such as dieticians, home care companies, insurance companies, pharmacies, as well as many others.…
