Job Summary: Under the direction of the security supervisor, protects the life and property of all persons on Baystate Health property . As the only level-one Trauma Center in Western Mass, we deal with numerous criminal traumas in the Emergency Department and inpatient units. We also see many behavioral health and dual-diagnosis patients in our facility. We are often called upon to provide 1:1 watches on any of the above patients as requested. Will take the lead role in responding to various incidents around the campus. Each region in our system has its own set of challenges with aggression, opioid abuse, and behavioral health.
