About this role

Job Description: Provides patient support and expedites the diagnostic work-up in the mammography department up through diagnosis. Provides education, support and follow up to women as they progress through this process. Coordinate transition into Clinical Care Management. This role will work Monday-Friday from 9 AM -5:30 PM. Essential Functions Assist with coordination of multidisciplinary breast cancer and imaging information with the Clinical Care Coordinator. Call back all patients with an abnormal mammogram and assist in follow up. Coordinate appointments that require diagnostic services with radiological, surgical, or primary care provider. Explain image-guided procedures knowledgeably and in detail.…
