About this role

Job Description: A Patient Financial Advocate (PFA) provides financial counseling to uninsured/ underinsured patients, by determining eligibility for IMH patients and individuals in the communities we serve. Patient Financial Advocates assist patients by processing and submitting documentation and applications for various medical assistance programs, such as: State/ Federal public benefits, ACA insurance education, and internal/ external financial assistance/aide programs.
