JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: Under the direction of the Machine Shop Supervisor, the machinist sets up and operates machine tools to produce a target that matches the production orders stating customer’s specifications including tolerances and density. Plans and executes assignments using a wide variety of machines such as: lathes, milling machine, drill press and bench grinder to manufacture PVD materials.
