About this role
Job Description: Perform routine welding work on HVAC units according to blueprints, company standards and applicable standards to meet inspection criteria in accordance with defined requirements. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Executes routine welding tasks on HVAC units. Ability to set up and maintain welding machine (tip, liner, changes, etc.) and weld vertical, horizontal, and overhead. Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter. Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as required. Grind and clean areas where required. Stay current in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed. Follow hazardous waste disposal program and fire prevention procedures.…
