About this role

Job Description: Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams sucht Airbus Defence & Space GmbH für den Standort Ottobrunn einen Development Responsible Optical Subsystems (d/f/m). Sie werden Teil eines Teams sein, das optische Instrumente für den Weltraum im Auftrag führender europäischer Agenturen (z. B. ESA, CNES, DLR) und internationaler Kunden entwickelt. Das Spektrum der Instrumente reicht von UV bis zu thermischem Infrarot. Zu diesen Instrumenten gehören beispielsweise LIDARs (z. B. MERLIN), meteorologische Instrumente (z. B. MetOp-SG mit Sentinel-5 und METimage), wissenschaftliche Nutzlasten für Tiefraummissionen (NIRSpec) sowie Erdbeobachtungskameras mit großen Teleskopen. Die Entwicklung dieser Instrumente erfolgt in Toulouse (Frankreich), Ottobrunn und Friedrichshafen (Deutschland).…
