About this role

Department/Unit: HBD - Community Endo Work Shift: Per Diem (United States of America) Salary Range: $41,923.00 - $54,500.00 The Medical Transcriptionist is responsible for transcribing for providers, patient reports, letters, preoperative consultations and medical office notes in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy. Transcribed reports and dictated material are reviewed for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency and proper medical terminology. Edits are appropriately made. Where applicable, reference materials are used to verify new medications and to confirm accuracy of report. The Medical Transcriptionist must possess knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, physiology and diagnostic procedures.…
