The role ALS Geochemistry is looking for a Fire Assayer to join our Fire Assay team at our facility in Orange - NSW , where you will play a crucial role in the analysis of precious metals. Key Responsibilities: Accurately weigh samples and add flux reagents as part of the fire assay process. Operate high-temperature furnaces (900–1100 °C) to fuse mixtures and extract metals such as gold. Dose and flux samples for fusion. Fuse and cupel gold samples for analysis. Perform quality control procedures. Conduct routine maintenance and testing of equipment.…
