AWS Bill Generation (BillGen) converts over 20 petabytes of metering data into billions of dollars of revenue every month — running the billing system for one of the largest hyperscalers on the planet. We're looking for a Senior Software Development Manager to lead our ~40-person Bill Run Orchestration organization within BillGen. The Orchestration organization’s North Star is to transform AWS bill run from a batch-based process to a fully autonomous real-time streaming process, while ensuring accurate, timely and clear bills for customers. The role is technically challenging with elements of scale, precision and speed. Scale — millions of customers, a global footprint, per-second billing.
