Job Description SUMMARY Works as an operator in the process, maintains quality standards and ensures continuous improvement of the total packaging operation: palletizers, strappers, AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle), wrappers and dunnage sorter. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Part of the packaging team members as an operator. Working in a safe manner and identifies and corrects unsafe work practices. Ensures plant quality standards are being met and maintained. Runs a packaging machine or machines using written work instructions, visual management, and computer interface. Evaluates and improves skill level over time Troubleshoots and performs adjustments to the machines to correct improper functions. Assists with new machine setups.…
