About this role
Argonne is in search of a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic I. Under general supervision of a Building Maintenance Foreman, the Maintenance Mechanic I performs maintenance, operational functions and repairs to building and utility electrical and mechanical systems and structures (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing). Executes all work, as they apply to work performed by self or by personnel under supervision, in compliance with environmental safety health and quality (ESHQ) and security reponsibilites established by Argonne National Laboratory's ESHQ policies, Safeguards and Security policies, work rules and safe practices.
