P OSITION: Director of Sales & Marketing DEPARTMENT: Marketing REPORTS TO: General Manager – Shreveport Convention Center & Municipal Auditorium FLSA STATUS: Exempt – Salary SUMMARY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Hires, trains, and supervises sales staff. Supervises and provides support to Sales Managers and other departments. Develop sales contracts and addendums and monitors compliance. Provides on-going support and service to existing clients. Identifies and implements sales goals and objectives.. Prepares creative Marketing and Sales Plan. Prepares statistics, reports, and budget presentations for General Manager. Represents the facility at all industry-related Trade Shows. Creates, presents, and attends bid presentations in collaboration with hotel and/or CTB.…
