About This Position Job Description: Maintenance Worker Leader Purpose: Under general supervision, this position performs building maintenance services on City facilities and acts in a lead capacity over other Building Maintenance personnel. Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. Inspects buildings and equipment for needed repairs and maintenance. Repairs and replaces electric plugs and cords. Performs minor repairs to tables, chairs, desks, cabinets, etc. Performs semi-skilled carpentry work in the construction and repair of walls, ceilings, doors, etc. Installs and/or replace floor and ceramic tiles. Drives vehicles as needed.…
