About This Position Job Description: Public Health Program Coordinator Purpose: Under general direction or working independently, administer and coordinate activities of an assigned public health and/or human services program area. Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. Plans goals, objectives, for assigned programs. Develops policies and procedures. Evaluates programs to determine compliance with Federal, State, Local, and departmental regulations. Develops and conducts orientation and training sessions for program staff. Assists in budget preparation. Promotes assigned programs through relevant media.…
