About this role

The Auction Advanced Technician must be able from basic to complex vehicle repairs. The Technician must perform vehicle inspections and repairs as assigned in accordance with AutoNation Auction standards. What are the day-to-day responsibilities? Diagnose the cause of malfunction and be able to note recommendations on inspection sheet. Perform needed repairs upon approval from Management. Communicate with Auction Inspection Manager about parts needed. Performing work with efficiency and accuracy. Examining the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Record all work to be performed and completing the work order in the Auction System as soon as the job is complete. Stay current in the latest diagnostic methods and service techniques for the vehicles.…
