OR Scheduler, Per Diem Job Description: Responsible for scheduling surgeries, pre-admission screenings and patient teaching classes as well as providing secretarial/scheduling coverage for the OR desk. Interaction with surgeons, surgeon's office staff, OR nursing staff and Patient Access staff on a daily basis. Requires strong data entry skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Minimum of 1 year of Scheduling or Medical Office experience required. Orthopedic background beneficial. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS: Answers telephone in a professional manner and communicates messages.…
