Job Title Public Safety Operator - BCSO Pay Rate Min to Mid Range $21.79 - $25.61 Time Type Full time Summary Description This position is under supervision of the Sheriff and located at the Bexar County Communications Center. Under direct supervision, is responsible for answering emergency and non-emergency telephone calls; routes calls to public safety dispatchers or fire dispatchers; operates telecommunication equipment such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System, County Integrated Justice System (CIJS), Records Management System (RMS), Computer Telephony 9-1-1 and Mapping System, and hearing impaired teletype; enters subject matter into computer; responds to requests for information; completes various clerical tasks; and performs related duties as required.…
