The unit provides continuous cardiac monitoring for acute medical patients and serves as a hub for fast-turnaround surgical care, including bariatric, urology, and orthopedic overflow cases. With streamlined 24–48-hour recovery pathways, a strong focus on early mobility, and frequent admissions from the ED and PACU, 2F/G offers a dynamic setting where nurses gain experience with diverse patient populations and achieve excellent clinical outcomes.…
