Summary Job Description: Registere d Nurse Part-Time, 1 st Shift Unit Description 5B is a 22-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in women’s care, oncology, gynecology, and palliative/hospice care. The unit also cares for patients receiving chemotherapy. In addition, 5B provides post-operative care for plastic surgery and general surgery patients. The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, evidence-based nursing care through assessment, treatment, care coordination, patient and family education, and individualized care planning while supporting admissions, transfers, and discharges.
