A DAY IN THE LIFE A day in the life as a CAD Designer involves creating and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and layouts that support utility-scale solar and wind energy projects. You'll work closely with engineers and project teams to develop site layouts, electrical and civil drawings, equipment arrangements, and construction documents while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards. This role plays a key part in transforming engineering concepts into buildable designs that support successful project planning, execution, and delivery. STEP INTO THE ROLE Supports estimating and engineering efforts with quantity takeoffs, drafting, modeling, and data analysis. Generates bid quantities and performs takeoffs for bid items.…
