A DAY IN THE LIFE Troubleshoots and repairs all types of equipment from heavy construction to light support equipment and work tools. Operates equipment to diagnose problems and inspects equipment for defects. Responsible for small welding and fabricating tasks required on equipment coming through shop. Able to complete tasks with minimal direction. STEP INTO THE ROLE Performs repairs on all types of equipment and work tools. Operates equipment to diagnose problems and inspects equipment for defects. Assists supervisors, co-workers with a variety of mechanic, and related tasks as necessary.
