POSITION SUMMARY: This position is a resource to the ED & Main Admissions Patient Access Supervisors and leadership team, as well as front line ED, L&D and Surgical Day Patient Access Representatives. The team leader is responsible for providing floor support to all front end team members within the ED, L&D and Surgical Day areas and ensure that all areas are covered as needed. The team lead is responsible for ensuring patient registration and billing information is complete and accurate. Provides support as needed in different areas of the ED, L&D and Surgical Day. Must be able to function in both central and pod/treatment are environments. Performs full registration and obtains, verifies and records personal, demographic, financial and visit-specific clinical information.…
