About this role

Organization Overview The mission of the Laboratory Protection Division (LP) is to serve and protect the Laboratory population by providing response services and technical expertise allowing world class science to occur in a safe and secure environment. The Police Group within LP, protects classified matter, special nuclear materials, hazardous materials, and property against theft, diversion, or destruction. It is responsible for Laboratory entry and access controls, intrusion detection, alarm assessment response services for police, security, emergencies and crisis management support.
