Job Description: Job Summary: In accordance with agency Mission, Vision, Values and Goals, the Counselor/Therapist, provides ongoing individual and group counseling to assigned population and also provides group education as requested. The Counselor/Therapist generates documentation reflecting clinical necessity which meets program and agency standards. The Counselor/Therapist interacts regularly with other staff and treatment providers to provide quality care to individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Counselors/Therapists may also provide crisis intervention, case management, treatment planning and reviews and psycho-social assessments.
