SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Cardiovascular/ Elecrtophysiology Laboratory Manager and according to established protocols, assists clinically and technically in invasive and non-invasive cardiac catheterization/ electrophysiology procedures utilizing specialized equipment while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Sets up, operates, and maintains specialized physiological systems and instrumentation used for patient monitoring during cardiac catheterization/ electrophysiology procedures. May assist physicians in the preparation and performance of procedures. Acquires, enters, and records data and performs various tests and calculations.
