About this role

Job Description: The Research Assistant will support research activities in Dr. Tingle’s lab by collecting, curating, and analyzing data, and by training student researchers in data collection techniques. Research activities will involve external measurements and musculoskeletal dissection of preserved snake specimens, sometimes with the aid of a dissecting scope; using software to obtain data from CT scans of snake specimens; locomotor experiments with live snakes involving videography, accelerometry, or related data collection techniques. The Research Assistant will also annotate videos and analyze data using R, Python, or other programming languages. This is a fixed term position with an end date of 8/31/2027, which may be extended based upon available funding.…
