POSITION SUMMARY: The role of Associate Director of Clinical Chemistry will provide technical and administrative assistance in the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory. In addition, the incumbent will provide quality control of all assays performed in the chemistry laboratory, provide activity reports, and ensure up-to-date knowledge of new technologies for the laboratory. The incumbent will participate in quality control and quality assurance programs as they relate to clinical chemistry. In addition, the associate director of chemistry will collaboratively oversee certain aspects of the point-of-care testing program and send-out department, as delegated by the system medical director of clinical laboratories.…
