SUMMARY: Under direction of a Physician Anesthesiologist, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers any number of agents in order to provide anesthesia for a variety of procedures. During the administration of anesthesia, the CRNA continuously monitors the patient and provides appropriate care under a care team model. Patients are continuously monitored until they are stable and care has been transferred to the PACU.
