SUMMARY: Under general supervision, but according to established policies and procedures, performs variety of non-medical duties in support of Surgical Services. Such activities include, but are not limited to, transporting patients to and from Operating Room; picking up and/or delivering supplies, materials, specimens, cultures and the like. Assists in preoperative scrubs; assists in lifting, positioning and supporting patients. Cleans and prepares equipment utilized in surgical procedures; prepares material for sterilization. Assists in cleaning and maintaining the operating rooms. Assembles charge form packets.…
