Supervises the daily operations of the Ophthalmic Technician Services. Performs technical patient procedures to document and diagnose visual acuity. Serves as a central point of contact for coordinating patient care/patient flow within assigned area of responsibility. Collaborates with physicians, staff and other departments to enhance services. Supervises department staff. Ensures polices and procedure are adhered to. Develops and provides resident and fellow in-service/orientation for the ophthalmic technician services.
