About this role

Job Description: Performs vehicle operation work in the County’s transportation services program. The work involves operating a bus and van to provide transportation service to County residents, as well as sales and disbursement of fare cards. The work requires experience and is performed under general supervision. Essential Job Functions Operates vehicle to transport residents, including those with disabilities and other accommodations. Answers phone inquiries to those desiring transportation, when necessary. Advises on the benefits of, sells, and disburses fare cards. Coordinates schedule for curb to curb services for specialized service passengers. Transports mail using county vehicle. Inspects, maintains and cleans vehicle. Distributes schedules.…
