The Biology Department at Carleton College seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in Animal Physiology beginning September 1, 2027. We expect to make an appointment at the Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and research with undergraduate students in a liberal arts environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who are committed to inclusive excellence in their teaching. We seek applicants who are dedicated to furthering the College’s goals of closing equity gaps and providing a safe learning environment for all students. A completed Ph.D. in biology or a related field with postdoctoral experience is preferred, but applicants who will complete their Ph.D. by June 2027 will be considered.…
