About this role
The Combustion Technician provides all electrical, instrumentation, and combustion system support for maintenance, operation, quality assurance and control of industrial furnaces. Support includes troubleshooting, inspections, calibrations, adjustments, temperature and accuracy surveys of the furnaces; focusing on safe, reliable, and cost-effective production in a lean manufacturing environment. Conducts furnace temperature uniformity surveys and system accuracy tests. Fabricate and maintain thermocouple test and calibration stands necessary for surveys. (Basic welding skills are a plus.) Maintains furnace related electrical systems including PLCs, HMI, controls, interlocks, as well as furnace combustion systems.…
