About this role

Join as an Electronics Technician and contribute to the upgrade of a cutting-edge quench detection system used in the operation of the superconducting magnets in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). During the upcoming major shutdown period, you will work side by side with engineers, taking part in the full lifecycle from removing outdated equipment to building, testing, and deploying next-generation electronics. Your responsibilities: Maintenance and consolidation of quench detection system (QDS) electronics in the LHC tunnel. Test and commissioning of QDS systems in the LHC tunnel. Support to the operation and maintenance of functional test systems for QDS electronics. Your profile: Experience in analog and digital electronics, including the assembly of electronic crates and circuit boards.…
