Job summary Working within the Marine Specialty Ipswich/Manchester as Underwriter for Marine Cargo & Freight Liability business. Main duties Underwriting and reviewing new and renewal risks, taking into account type of risk, nature of subject matter, limits, voyages, stock locations, turnover. rating guidelines and claims experience. Production and distribution of policy documentation. Input and maintain accurate records within the Underwriting and Accounts systems and capture relevant data to allow for the successful monitoring and analysis of risks written. Monitor risks written that are due for renewal. Prepare reports and statistical information as required by the Underwriters.…
