About This Position Job Description: Carpenter Purpose: Under general supervision, perform skilled maintenance carpentry work in City-owned facilities. Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. Performs skilled Carpentry work in City-owned facilities. Operates and maintains various power and hand tools. Installs, repairs, rebuilds, fabricates, replaces City facility structures and amenities. Reads blueprints, specifications and building codes. Records data. Measures using appropriate instruments.
