Job Description Position Summary: Provides technical support to pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, pouring, labeling, packaging, and drawing medications into syringes under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Assists clients, students, clinicians, and technicians by providing information regarding pharmacy procedures, prescription pricing, medication availability, and pharmacy services. Receives and processes prescription orders, performs data entry, and conducts initial screening of prescriptions and medication orders for completeness and accuracy, including verification of required signatures, dates, case numbers, patient weights, quantities, directions, addresses, and other required information.…
