Senior Risk Analyst - 12mth Contract initially

A leading energy company in London has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced risk analyst to join their growing Risk department collaborating across the business providing enhanced risk measurement. The Risk Analyst represents the team as a subject matter expert and will be required to work on complex risk topics such as modelling VaR, volatility, electricity trading and balancing, IR, options, price simulations, etc. Independently investigating and solving varied complex energy risk problems will be a core responsibility of this role so the successful candidate will have existing knowledge of energy market trading and products, and standard risk topics (volatility, correlation, VaR) experience gained from within a similar role working for a UK energy trading/supply business.…
