Trading Analyst

A commercially focused energy business is seeking to hire an experienced energy analyst to work in a team focused on improving the profitability of the trading and hedging activities of the business. The successful candidate with have excellent analytical skills and have working experience in an energy commodity trading, risk or pricing environment within a UK energy business. My client's offices are NOT based in central Bristol but easily commutable from the Bristol, Cardiff, Gloucester areas with you own transport. Key responsibilities will include: Run and continuously improve existing price forecasting, models, databases and methodology.
