Job Summary: The RN nurse navigator serves as a critical resource for the inpatient unit as well as the Strong Futures Program. As a key member of the treatment team, they are an access point for adolescents presenting for inpatient acute services and discharged patients that require follow-up services. The Nurse Navigator will serve as a community liaison, communicating bed availability and assisting referral sources with admission presentations. The RN will have a working knowledge of psychiatric admission criteria, registration, and the Strong Futures referral process.
