Job Summary: Summary A Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, medical staff, employees and their property as well as ensures the security of the buildings and all property of the SJH in a professional and courteous manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry. Conducts patrols of all SJH buildings, grounds and off-site/satellite locations. Assists all staff with the safe handling of mental/behavioral health patients, including the proper use of force during violent situations. Patrols employee parking lot and garage areas to ensure safety of employees, patients and visitors. Documents all activity including rounds in the Security Log.…
