About this role
TACG is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team in support of a contract at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, GA. This is a mixed position performing the duties of a sheet metal mechanic and aircraft mechanic. The candidate in this position is required to perform several unrelated aircraft overhaul functions for assigned aircraft.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Develop patterns and lay out, cut, form, join, assemble, and install metal parts, items, and assemblies
Plan and lay out work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and work orders in manufacturing aircraft sheet metal structures that have combined straight and curved edges, and irregular angles, planes, and curves…
