Preceptor

The Preceptor provides secondary instruction to students who are placed in an experimental learning environment. This role is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and correcting students in their learning experience, ensuring students utilize acquired skills in practical setting. The Preceptor engages in regular feedback with the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) faculty and department chair, in both formal and informal meetings, to communicate progress in meeting student learning outcomes. This position is responsible for filing in during peak capacity periods, and this position may play a larger role, as operation needs dictate, in facilitating the working aspects of the EMT operations. ‎ Student Engagement Monitors students in patient care settings.…
