Summary: The Food Service Specialist is responsible for food service tasks and cooking at a Mental Health Residential (MH Res) program for up to 20 individuals. This position plans monthly or weekly breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, orders food and supplies, and monitors and prepares healthy, balanced meals. The Food Service Specialist communicates with employees regarding resident dietary needs/issues which may include preparing special/modified diets. They are responsible for the operation of the kitchen and dining area including setup, cleaning, and maintenance.…
