About this role

Daily care of horse/preparation of horses for training/racing. Feed/water horse, clean tack, bathe, brush, and clip horse, apply horse boots and prepare horse to be saddled for races. Clean horse's feet, apply/remove leg wraps/boots and saddle for training. Bathe/cool down horse after training/racing. Assist vet and farrier. Clean/re-bed stalls. Hose down horse with cold/warm water. Wrap horse in brace or poultice bandages as necessary. Ability to lift 150 lbs with assistance. Random drug testing may be conducted post-hire at employer's expense for all workers, both domestic and H-2B, for the safety of horses and workers. 1 month experience required as Groom/Stable Attendant. SPLIT SHIFT 5AM-11AM; 3PM-5PM. WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED, WHEN NECESSARY.…
