Overview & Responsibilities PURPOSE OF THE JOB The supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of employees and resources within their assigned areas of responsibility. The supervisor receives input on requirements and priorities from operations management and production control teams and ensures that activities are run efficiently, employees are well managed, and production goals are met while maintaining established safety and quality requirements by providing leadership, supervision and support to their assigned area.
