Job Description The assistant rowing coach supports the head coach and is responsible for a variety of coaching, teaching and recruiting issues, along with practice and race-day related functions as assigned by the head coach. Duties: Provide instruction to rowing student-athletes on the fundamentals and strategies of rowing and racing. Understand and follow USRowing and racing guidelines Assist in recruiting/retaining highly skilled student-athletes; Design and execute effective novice/walk-on programs. Actively support and promote the NCAA’s Life in the Balance strategic positioning platform, embracing the six ideals of leaning, balance, resourcefulness, sportsmanship passion and service.…
