POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under general supervision, the individual performs various kinds of skilled and unskilled work in connection with the inspection, maintenance and repair of automotive and mobile or stationary, heavy-duty equipment, including any associated components and equipment. Working knowledge of the operation and construction of internal combustion engines and hydraulic assemblies required. Ability to diagnose operating deficiencies of automotive and hydraulic equipment required. First consideration will be given to individuals with contractual rights to the position.…
